SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the equipment of vehicles preventing their unauthorized use or theft, and can be used in the construction of ignition locks to prevent their dismantling. Ignition switch comprises a housing 1 with a removable clamp 2, clamp fastening members made in the form of at least one fixing rod 3 located in the opening 4 of the housing 1 and mating with the opening 5 in the clamp 2, a lock cylindrical rotary mechanism 6 and a locking device for the fixing rod 3 provided with a groove 7 on its cylindrical surface. Locking device of the fixing rod 3 is formed by the pivoting member 8 associated with the locking mechanism 6 and the locking member 9 located in the lock body 1 between the pivoting member 8 and the fixing rod 3 with the possibility of entering its groove 7. Each locking element 9 is preferably in the form of a ball or roller with spherical ends disposed in the through hole 16 of the lock body 1, with the possibility of moving between the groove 7 of the fixing rod 3 and the notch 15 of the cam 12.

EFFECT: provides a compact design with fastening elements of reduced dimensions, allowing the installation of the ignition lock in a limited installation space.
