FIELD: beverage making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to beverage-making machines for making beverages and so forth from a portion package with a small-portion shell (for example, a capsule) and extractable substance (for example, coffee) contained in the small-portion shell. In particular, it relates to a method for operating the beverage-making machine, a beverage-making machine, and a method for operating a control device. The method for operating beverage-making machine (1) for the preparation of a final product using portion package (3) contains following stages performed by beverage-making machine (1): - receiving stage (61) to receive, using connection unit (15), a start command; - checking stage (62) to check, whether beverage-making machine (1) is ready for the preparation of the final product; and, if beverage-making machine (1) is ready for the preparation of the final product: - confirmation stage (64) to send, using connection unit (15), a confirmation that the start command was received, and beverage-making machine (1) is ready for the preparation of the final product; - preparation stage (65) for the preparation of the final product.
EFFECT: safe and easy operation of the beverage-making machine and the creation of an appropriate method for operating the beverage-making machine.
