SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for automatic round-the-clock monitoring and tracking of communication capacitors state at power facilities, can be used to determine the beginning of the coupling capacitor destruction process and its timely replacement. System for monitoring condition of communication capacitors includes at least one coupling capacitor connected to power transmission line, at least one connection filter and at least one communication capacitor monitoring sensor, as well as a controller. Number of sensors corresponds to the number of coupling capacitors and connection filters. Connection filter contains an additional separate winding, to which a control sensor of the communication capacitor is connected, the output of which is connected to the analogue input of the controller.

EFFECT: simplification of the monitoring system of the communication capacitor state due to integration of the communication capacitor monitoring sensor with the proposed system coupling filter.
