FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an endotracheal tube for the prevention of vocal cord injuries associated with mechanical ventilation. Tube comprises a cuff configured to be inflated and deflated by connecting a syringe to the Luer-Lok connector. Cuff is designed so that its degree of blowing is controlled by a balloon. Endotracheal tube is made with inserts from elastic membranes by the shape of a rounded rectangle in the area of vocal chords made with possibility of inflation, in the patient's inhalation phase, with the air flow from the ventilator and forming an opening corresponding to the diameter of the endotracheal tube, and blowing in the patient's exhalation phase, with reinforcement of the remaining portion of the tube wall within the vocal chords.
EFFECT: technical result is prolongation of artificial ventilation with ETT introduced into the respiratory tract and possibility of not tracheostomy.
