SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology. In patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) echocardiography is performed. Scar changes, signs of hypertrophy of left ventricle myocardium, lung hypertension are detected. Functional class of CHF is determined. Anemia, irregular therapy are taken into account. Detected risk factors are given gradations, their numerical values are established. By original mathematical formula high or low probability of CHF progressing is determined.
EFFECT: method ensures possibility of predicting onset of CHF progressing and makes it possible to objectively relate patient to group of high risk with further therapy optimisation.
