FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, namely, to two-stroke engines with coaxially located pistons. Two-stroke internal combustion engine includes at least one cylinder (1), in which there is annular piston (2) connected kinematically to the first crank pin (3) of the crankshaft with the possibility of reciprocal movement in cylinder (1). In annular piston (2) there is a through hole, longitudinal geometrical axis (10) of which is parallel to geometrical longitudinal axis of cylinder (9) or coincides with it. Inside the through hole of annular piston (2) there is piston (11) with bottom (12) connected to the second crank pin (13) of the crank shaft with possibility of back-and-forth movement inside annular piston (2). Pin (3) of the crankshaft, connected to one piston (2), is offset along the angle of rotation relative to shaft pin (13) connected to other piston (11). Kinematic connection of annular piston (2) with cranked pin (3) is made by means of kinematic link (4) installed on the first crank pin (3), as well as rolling bearing (5) fixed in annular piston (2). In annular piston (2) one bearing race (7) of bearing (5) is fixed, and link (4) is connected to other race (6) of bearing (5). Geometric axis (8) of rotation of bearing (5) fixed in annular piston (2) is located along longitudinal geometrical axis (9) of cylinder (1) and shifted relative to it. In cylinder (1) there are outlet openings (15) arranged with the possibility of changing their cross-section by the edge of annular piston (2). Purge channels (16) with openings (17) are made inside the annular piston and configured to vary their cross-section by the edge of piston (11) located inside annular piston (2).
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of engine by reducing speed of movement of one of pistons when it moves in area of top dead center.
