FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method of determining glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in a patient in need thereof. Method comprises administering to said patient a compound of formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, measuring the concentration of the compound of formula I in said patient during the measurement time interval and determining the GFR in said patient; where formula I compound is:
and where said patient in need thereof has at least CKD stage 1.
EFFECT: invention provides a wider range of means for determining glomerular filtration rate, as well as helps diagnose patients with CKD by increasing accuracy.
