SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for measuring the amount of a fluorescent compound in plasma. In one embodiment, the method includes measuring the amount of a fluorescent compound, MB-102, for which a plasma sample is collected, the plasma sample is diluted with at least one solvent, and the diluted sample is analyzed by HPLC to thereby measure the amount of the compound in the plasma, the plasma sample is not dried before HPLC analysis and do not add any internal standard to the sample. In another embodiment, the method includes measuring the amount of a fluorescent compound, MB-102, for which a plasma sample is collected, at least one solvent is added to the sample, thereby causing the precipitation of plasma proteins; the removal of precipitated plasma proteins from the sample, and the analysis of the sample using HPLC to measure thus the amount of compound in the plasma, the sample not being dried prior to HPLC analysis and no internal standard added to the sample.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a simple and accurate method for measuring the amount of a fluorescent compound in plasma.
