FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of assessing the effectiveness of nephroprotective therapy in hypertensive patients with stage C2 chronic kidney disease. The level of biomarkers of proximal tubular damage NGAL and KIM-1 in urine is determined before starting treatment with antihypertensive drugs and during treatment after 6 months. If a decrease in the level of NGAL in the urine after 6 months of treatment is detected by more than 71.3% and a decrease in the level of KIM-1 in the urine after 6 months of treatment by more than 54.5%, nephroprotective therapy is assessed as effective.
EFFECT: invention provides control over the effectiveness of nephroprotective therapy in hypertensive patients with stage C2 chronic kidney disease and has high sensitivity and specificity.
