SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a rocking chair comprising a rear support frame arranged with a rotating portion, a front swinging frame pivotally attached to the rear support frame and used as a front support frame, and an electric swinging drive mechanism, leading the front swinging frame into continuous rocking motion backwards and forwards relative to the rear support frame; when the front swinging frame continuously swings backwards and forwards relative to the rear support frame, the distance between the movable part and the rotary part alternately decreases and increases with alternating lifting and lowering of the turning point of the rear support frame and the front swinging frame relative to the support surface.

EFFECT: rocking chair has automatic swinging and lifting function, and there is no need for additional fixing frame to ensure stability of rocking chair during movement over considerable area.
