FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and concerns an electronic pen-type detecting device comprising a body, a paper test strip and a control circuit, characterized in that the paper test strip is used to measure concentration of human chorionic gonadotropin in urine, and the paper test strip comprises a first paper test strip and a second paper test strip, wherein the minimum amount of human chorionic gonadotropin, determined by the first paper test strip, is less than the minimum amount of human chorionic gonadotropin, determined by the second paper test strip; wherein the minimum amount of human chorionic gonadotropin, determined by the first paper test strip, does not exceed 25 mIU/ml, and the minimum amount of human chorionic gonadotropin, determined by the second paper test strip, does not exceed 100 mIU/ml, and a control circuit is used to obtain a result of determining the number of weeks on early pregnancy, depending on the chromogenic reaction of the first paper test strip and the chromogenic reaction of the second paper test strip and outputting the determination result to a liquid crystal display (LCD) connected to the control circuit. Group of inventions also relates to a method for determining the number of weeks in early pregnancy.
