FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine area, in particular, to obstetrics and gynecology and can be used for forecasting of multifetation pregnancy at extracorporal fertilisation (ECF). In order to perform the way, the blood serum is examined for content of β-chorionic gonadotropin using the method of solidphase enzyme immunoassay at women before carrying out of ECF programs and embryo transfer (ET). At 30 ME/l concentration of β-chorionic gonadotropin and more, - multifetation pregnancy is prognosticated. At its value less than 30 ME/l, - single fetation pregnancy is prognosticated. The way can be applied not only at extracorporal fertilisation, but also at physiological pregnancy at will of a woman.
EFFECT: increased accuracy at prediction of multiple fetation pregnancy.
