SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, a system and a computer-readable medium for conducting a transaction. Disclosed is a method, in which: displaying a first code including embedded data, whether the teller terminal device supports contactless payments with a magnetic strip; reading a first code using a camera on a mobile device; extracting embedded data in a mobile device; determining whether contactless payments with a magnetic strip are supported by the device of the POS terminal; if the POS device supports contactless payments with the magnetic strip, converting identification data into a second code for display on a mobile device screen, or if not, converting identification data relating to a transaction to a third code, different from second code; displaying a second code or a third code on the screen of the mobile device; displaying a displayed second code or third code in a teller terminal device; determining identification data; and processing the transaction using said identification data relating to the transaction.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of mobile telephone compatibility when performing payment transactions.
