FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and orthopedics, and can be used in surgical management of patients with deformities and instabilities of the lumbar spine of various aetiology. Starting point of the screw is selected at the intersection of the horizontal line, which determines the level of the lower edge of the additional process, and a vertical corresponding to the border of the external and middle one-third of the base of the lower articular process. Direction of the screw is parallel to the cortical bone in the area of the lower articular process transition into the vertex leg. Bone canals are formed to perforate an external cortical layer on a lateral surface of a vertebral body under an upper closure plate. Polyaxial screws are implanted into the formed channels, after which a beam fixation structure is mounted.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the risk of nerve root damage, improving the structure strength, reducing traction damage of the back muscle of the back muscles by determining a safe route for the screw.
