FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: stud (1, 1') of tire comprises non-metallic body (2, 2') of stud with support flange (4, 4') and stud pin (3) fixed in stud body (2, 2') and made of hard metal, one end part of which extends beyond tire stud body (2, 2') and second end part of which is fixed inside stud cage (2, 2') in stud section part (8, 11b) made of first non-metallic material. Part of stud pin (3), which passes inside stud cage (2, 2') between stud ends (3), is retained in at least one other part (2a, 11a) of stud casing made of second non-metallic material. First stud casing part (8, 11b), in which one end of stud pin (3) is attached, consists of thermoplastic or thermosetting plastic or of solid rubber, at that part (2a, 11a) of stud body, in which part of stud (3) of tire pin, which passes inside stud housing (2, 2') between end parts, is maintained, consists of abrasion-resistant and rubber-resistant rubber or thermoplastic vulcanised rubber.
EFFECT: technical result is decreased weight of stud with good characteristics of stud on ice-covered surfaces and increased reliability of stud attachment in tire tread.
