FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention provides a method for determining VDR receptor expression in the endometrial stroma by immunohistochemistry using polyclonal antibodies in endometrial tissue samples obtained by biopsy on 18–22th day of the menstrual cycle. If the expression value is equal to or greater than the threshold parameter of 8.7, an adverse prediction for implantation is stated; if expression value is less than threshold parameter, endometrium corresponds to a favourable implantation prediction, wherein the threshold value is determined proceeding from the experimental data by ROC analysis.
EFFECT: invention enables evaluating the expression of VDR receptors in the endometrial stroma as an additional receptor marker, predicting implantation by examining only one biological sample, namely, endometrial tissue, using only one method of determining VDR receptor expression in the endometrial stroma by immunohistochemistry.
