FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles electrical traction systems. Electric transmission of diesel locomotive consists of traction generator receiving mechanical energy from diesel engine and containing independent excitation winding and armature, excitation system, which is connected to independent excitation winding, traction motors, having direct electric connection to anchor of traction generator, wheel pairs mechanically connected with traction motors. At that, in the traction generator armature circuit the switching device is installed, which at disconnection of coupling of wheel pairs with rails provides connection to the anchor in series with traction electric motors of wheel pairs through sliding contacts with formation of a circuit for passage of generator current on wheel pairs and rails. At the same time wheel pairs and sliding contacts have electric isolation from other elements of locomotive design. Excitation system is equipped with traction generator start-up current limitation controller, which in the mode of starting and acceleration of the diesel locomotive ensures short-term increase of the generator current.
EFFECT: technical result consists in implementation of maximum possible traction qualities of diesel locomotive.
