FIELD: electricity; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles electrical traction systems. Electric transmission of diesel locomotive consists of traction generator, containing independent excitation winding and armature, excitation system, which is connected to independent excitation winding, traction electric motors having direct electric connection to traction generator anchor, wheel pairs mechanically connected with traction motors and installed on rails. At that, in the traction generator armature circuit the switching device is installed, which, by control signal generated during disruption of coupling of wheelsets with rails, provides disconnection of direct electric connection of traction motors with traction generator anchor and connection to anchor in series with traction electric motors of wheel pairs through sliding contacts with formation of circuit for passage of current of traction generator on wheel pairs and rails. At the same time wheel pairs and sliding contacts have electric isolation from other elements of locomotive design. At the same time inductive element is connected in the circuit for passage of traction generator current along wheel pairs and rails.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of dynamic loads on traction drive elements and increase of locomotive travel smoothness.
