FIELD: labeling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to labeling device (200) for labeling tray (210). Label supply device (201) configured to place the label on upper surface (306) of tray (301) so as to enable the label to pass through the tray with label portion (305), extending beyond one side surface (302) of the tray. First folding frame (202) is provided arranged laterally from conveyor means (206), comprising application unit (203), installed with possibility of rotation on axis (402) passing parallel to direction (207) of transmission and side surface (302) of tray (210), and first driving mechanism (401), configured to move application unit (203) in the forward-backward direction perpendicular to the tray transfer direction (207), wherein during labeling, the first driving mechanism, in response to the control signal, moves application unit from initial position to labeling position, in which application unit presses part of label, which extends beyond one lateral surface of tray, to one side surface of tray, so that application unit follows shape of side surface of tray through rotary movement of application unit around axis of rotation.

EFFECT: technical result is development of automatic labeling device for labeling trays.
