FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for dehydration of wells for extraction of gas from coal beds during their operation. Method provides for use of external casing string, in which gas and water flow near lower area of well for extraction of gas from coal beds. Compressed methane is fed into the lower region of the well for extraction of gas from coal beds. At that, with the help of this compressed methane, water is lifted from the lower area of the well for extraction of gas from coal beds - it is forced to flow upwards to the surface. At the same time delivery of compressed methane to lower areas of the well for extraction of gas from coal beds provides the effect of gas-lift on the basis of foam. At that, well bottomhole pressure is controlled by foam density control. Foam density is controlled by adjusting the liquid to gas ratio in the well by controlling the amount of compressed methane fed to the bottom region of the well, or by using additives.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of well dehydration for gas production.
