FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: extruder 10 comprises housing 12 and screw 24 with turns 26a, 26b, 26c arranged in housing to rotate therein. Said housing comprises inlet cone 22 for material to be extruded on its one end and matrix plate 18 with perforations 20 on opposite end. It has also air inlet channel 28 nearby one end and air release channel 30 nearby opposite end. Screw turns are arranged so that material 34 in said housing displaces faster along housing part between air inlet and air outlet than along housing part located upstream of aforesaid part. Air outlet is communicated with pump so that pressure difference exists between air inlet and air outlet.
EFFECT: partial or complete water removal without extra heat treatment.
