FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical equipment, namely to inflatable medical devices, and more specifically to balloons for invasive procedures, such as balloons used for percutaneous implantation of a heart valve, for example, to balloons used for transcatheter implantation of the aortic valve. Device with an inflatable structure for use as an inflatable medical device contains a non-deformable shell and a balloon located at least partially within the shell. Non-deformable shell has a longitudinal axis, a central section, a first tapered portion, and a second tapered portion. Balloon contains the first section and the second section in cross-section of the inflatable structure, and also contains mounting tape or fastening tape, intertwined between the sections of the balloon.
EFFECT: invention can support the flow of liquid or gas, will ensure the maintenance of exact dimensions and have additional longitudinal rigidity and increased strength in relation to breaks and punctures.
