FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to expanding devices, such as cylinders used in medical procedures, for example, in balloon aortic valvuloplasty. Device for use in carrying out a medical procedure in a vessel for transmitting a fluid medium comprises an inflatable perfusion balloon inflated to allow flow of fluid medium in the vessel, an inflatable valve for controlling fluid flow and a catheter shaft for supporting the perfusion balloon. Catheter rod comprises at least one lumen to receive a support on which the inflatable valve rests. When inflated, the inflatable valve is movable relative to the support between the first position, where the fluid flow is substantially blocked, and the second position, where the fluid flow through the channel is allowed. According to a second embodiment, a device for use in conducting a medical procedure in a fluid flow container comprises a perfusion balloon including a channel associated with an opening for receiving a fluid flow within the vessel, and an inflatable valve selectively positioned within the control channel fluid medium flow. Inflatable valve is movable between the first position, where the flow of the fluid medium is substantially enclosed, and the second position, where the flow of fluid medium through the channel is allowed. Perfusion balloon includes a fixator on a proximal end for fixation of an inflatable valve in the first position. When inflated, the inflatable valve is movable between the first position, where the fluid flow is substantially blocked, and the second position, where the fluid flow through the channel is allowed. According to the third embodiment, the device for use in carrying out a medical procedure in a fluid medium transfer vessel comprises a first inflatable balloon including a fluid transfer channel in an inflated state, an inflatable valve comprising a second inflatable balloon for controlling flow of fluid medium channel, and the catheter shaft to support the first inflatable balloon. Second inflatable balloon, when inflated, is configured to move from a first position, where fluid flow through the channel is substantially shut off, into a second position where fluid flow through the channel is allowed. Catheter rod comprises a first cavity communicating fluidly with the first inflatable balloon and a second cavity in fluid communication with the second inflatable balloon.
EFFECT: inventions can be used for selective control of fluid medium flow during a certain procedure, especially when used in connection with procedure, which implies valve, which turns out to be inoperative as a result of this procedure or for other reasons.
