FIELD: pulp industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making paper suitable for printing using an inkjet printing machine, for use as paper with a decor in a multilayer or laminated panel, the method comprising at least the following steps: a step of providing paper layer (1); step, on which ink-jet receiving coating (3) is applied on at least one side of said paper layer, containing pigment (6) and binder (7); wherein said inkjet receiving coating is applied in at least two separate steps, on which, respectively, first layer (4) is applied with first composition and then second layer (5) with second composition, wherein both compositions contain at least said binder. Present invention also relates to papers, as well as to a method of making panels, in which paper is equipped with a printed pattern and used as a decorative element in panels.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of making paper suitable for ink-jet printing, for use as paper with a decor.
