SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multi-stage Doherty power amplifier and a transmitter. Doherty power multi-stage power amplifier includes: a generalized carrier frequency amplifier, which is an embedded two-channel inertial Doherty amplifier, and a generalized peak amplifier connected to a generalized carrier frequency amplifier, which is a built-in single-channel terminal additional amplifier or a dual-channel conventional additional Doherty amplifier, generalized carrier frequency amplifier and generalized peak amplifier are arranged in the form of generalized double-channel inverting power Doherty amplifier. In embodiments of the invention, a signal power probability distribution function is used, oriented to a cost-effective circuit for constructing a multi-cascade Doherty amplifier, and cells with two-channel conventional and inverting Doherty amplifier are used as basic elements for constructing multi-stage Doherty amplifier with effect of gain expansion.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of amplification factor.
