SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relate to the field of data transmission. Method of transmitting data consists in the fact that each communication network (12, 13) forms a subordinate partial network (14, 15). Partial networks (14, 15) extend along appropriate section of transport unit (2, 3) and through address conversion device in form of NAT-router are connected to higher communication network (30). Data are transmitted between first (2) and second (3) transport units through the ground data transmission device (20) by the superior communication network (30). Data transmission device implements said method. Communication network also includes information and technical connections (24, 25) between transport units (2, 3) and a ground-based data transmission device (20). Information-and-technical connection (24; 25) is used for data transmission between first (2) and/or second (3) transport unit and ground-based device (20) of data transfer.

EFFECT: providing flexible data transmission between first (12) and second (13) communication networks.
