FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of mixing a liquid composition which contains microparticles dispersed in a liquid carrier. Liquid composition is contained in a receiver having a longitudinal axis (X—X). Method includes first step of preliminary mixing, on which the receiver is oscillatively moved relative to said longitudinal axis clockwise and counterclockwise from the first reference point by the value of the first rotation angle during first period of time and with first angular speed. At the second stage of preliminary mixing the receiver is oscillated relative to the specified longitudinal axis clockwise and counterclockwise from the second reference point by value of the second angle of rotation during second period of time and with second angular speed. First rotation angle is less than said second rotation angle, said first period of time is shorter than said second time period. Disclosed is an infusion pump device for mixing a liquid composition.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of mixing time without deterioration of suspension homogeneity.
