FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to clinical laboratory diagnostics, andrology, reproductive medicine, and can be used for assessing risk of oligozoospermia in men with normozoospermia. A method for determining the risk of developing oligozoospermia in men with normozoospermia involves establishing a normozoaspermia in a male with a sperm count of 15 to 49.9 million/ml when performing a morphological examination of the ejaculate, determining activity of aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase and concentration of lactate in spermal plasma, and if activity of aspartate aminotransferase is less than 245.3 E/l, lactate dehydrogenase less than 2068.1 E/l, lactate concentration less than 4.39 mmol/l, high risk of developing oligozoospermia is predicted; if the activity of aspartate aminotransferase is more than or equal to 245.3 E/l, lactate dehydrogenase more than or equal to 2068.1 E/l, lactate concentration more than or equal to 4.39 mmol/l, a low risk of oligozoospermia is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides improved early diagnosis of the risk of developing infertility.
