FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to clinical laboratory diagnostics, andrology, reproductive medicine, and can be used to determine quality of ejaculate in males by activity of creatine phosphokinase in spermal plasma. Ejaculate sample is collected by masturbation and ejaculation in a clean container of plastic, delivered to laboratory for 30 minutes at temperature of 20 to 37 °C, placing in thermostat at 37 °C for liquefaction. Centrifuged for 10 minutes at 1000 g. It is transferred into a pure test tube and activity of creatine phosphokinase is determined on an automatic biochemical analyser by kinetic method. Interpretation of results is carried out as follows: activity of creatine phosphokinase more than 362.3 E/l corresponds to normozoospermia, from 167.0 to 362.3 E/l inclusive corresponds to oligozoospermia, from 109.4 to 167.0 E/l inclusive corresponds to cryptozoospermia, CPK activity below 109.4 E/l inclusive corresponds to azoospermia according to spermiogram.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of determining the quality of ejaculate in males to improve the diagnosis of male infertility by determining the activity of CPK in the spermal plasma by a kinetic method in different morphofunctional states.
