FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-resistant nonwoven filtration materials intended for cleaning of dust and large incandescent particles of hot gases. Fire-resistant non-woven filter material is made by mixing pre-oxide and meta-aramid fibers in the weight ratio of components, %: from 30/70 to 80/20, respectively, interconnected by needling with subsequent thermal sealing. Surface density of the treated material is equal to 400–550 g/m2. Material surface on the side facing the contaminated gas flow is made so that a more rigid coating layer is formed during the gas-burning process.
EFFECT: increased service life of fire-resistant non-woven filter material with preservation of effective filtration of gaseous media.
