FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to electrotechnical steel sheet with oriented grain structure used as material of iron cores of transformers. Electrical sheet comprises steel sheet and amorphous oxide layer formed on steel sheet. Steel sheet has chemical composition containing the following in wt. %: C: 0.085 or less, Si: 0.80–7.00, Mn: 1.00 or less, Al: 0.065 or less, S: 0.013 or less, Cu: 0 to 0.80, N: 0 to 0.12, P: 0 to 0.5, Ni: 0 to 1.0, Sn: 0 to 0.3, Sb: from 0 to 0.3, the rest is Fe and impurities. Degree of lustre of surface of electrotechnical sheet makes 150 % or higher.

EFFECT: iron cores obtained from a sheet have high adhesion between an amorphous layer and an insulating coating with tension.
