FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, namely to ophthalmology, and aims at treating and preventing infectious inflammatory eye diseases in domestic and farm animals. Agent for treating eye diseases in veterinary science includes three active substances and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Active substances are n-hexadecyltributylphosphonium bromide in concentration 0.0000001 wt%, 5,7-dichloro-4,6-dinitrobenzofuroxane in concentration of 0.00001 wt% and 4,6-dichloro-5-nitrobenzofuroxane in concentration of 0.0001 wt%. As a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, an artificial tear is used, which includes hypromellose 0.3 wt%, benzalkonium chloride 0.01 wt%, disodium edetate 0.1 wt%, sodium chloride 0.2 wt%, sodium phosphate monosubstituted dihydrate 0.35 wt%, sodium phosphate disubstituted 12-hydrate 2.4 wt%, the rest is water.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides treatment and / or prevention of eye diseases in animals.
