SUBSTANCE: invention relates primarily to the field of veterinary medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for hygiene, prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory eye diseases. The veterinary hygienic ophthalmic lotion includes 5,7-dichloro-4,6-dinitrobenzofuroxan, 4,6-dichloro-5-nitrobenzofuroxan, chlorhexidine bigluconate, lidocaine hydrochloride, an alcoholic solution of eyebright, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Components are used in the declared quantities.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of hygiene, prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory eye diseases by providing simultaneous analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects and the absence of an irritating effect.
