An anti-inflammatory agent for the treatment of diffuse catarrhal keratitis and catarrhal conjunctivitis in veterinary medicine contains n-hexadecyltriphenylphosphonium bromide, 4,6-dichloronitrobenzofuroxan, alcohol tincture of catnip, lidocaine hydrochloride, a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier in the following ratio of components, wt.%: n-hexadecyltriphenylphosphonium bromide — 0,0000001; 4,6-dichlorobenzofuroxan — 0.0001; alcohol tincture of catnip — 0.5; lidocaine hydrochloride — 0.5; the rest is a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

EFFECT: above-described remedy expands the arsenal of means for this purpose by developing an anti-inflammatory agent for the treatment of diffuse catarrhal keratitis and catarrhal conjunctivitis in veterinary medicine in the form of eye drops and ointments that have low therapeutic doses of active substances, anti-inflammatory effects, and analgesic effects.
