FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hardening of superdispersed hard alloy. First ultrafine carbide is sintered at temperature of 1,400–1,650 °C and cooled, and then nitriding is conducted in a vacuum oven under nitrogen at temperature of 900–1,200 °C and pressure of 5 Pa.
EFFECT: higher degree of hardening of ultrafine hard alloy and resistance to cutting.
