SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to acoustic emission sensor testing. Essence of the invention is that the acoustic emission sensor testing device comprises a process control device; acoustic emission sensor connected to the process control device, wherein the acoustic emission sensor detects the operating condition of the process control device; and a piezoelectric reference frequency generator which is acoustically coupled to the acoustic emission sensor in order to test the operating condition of the acoustic emission sensor.
EFFECT: high reproducibility of results when testing an acoustic emission sensor.
