FORCEPS FOR OPENING AND WIDENING OF WEDGE-SHAPED SINUS ANASTOMOSIS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/28 A61B17/32

Abstract RU 2736319 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular to surgical instruments for blunt separation of soft tissues when prepared and removed. Forceps for opening and expansion of wedge sinus with a function of removing pathological tissues contain a longitudinal body with two handles, one of which is attached to the body rigidly and the other is hinged. Forceps have two working parts on the distal end, at that the upper one is longer than the lower one. Through ends of working parts have through oval windows. Handles of device are interconnected by means of cylindrical hinge, and with working surface - by means of a spherical hinge, with the possibility of transferring upper working part of the upper-lower movement in the plane of the housing by compressing the handles and returning them to the initial position, upper-lower movement is performed by means of two lifting mechanisms. Method of using the above forceps, wherein the distal end of the forceps under the control of the endoscope is inserted into the wedge sinus anastomosis region, when opening the upper working portion, expanding the anastomosis in different directions along the perimeter, forceps are removed, by the following stage the wedge-shaped sinus cavity is examined by an endoscope, pathological tissues of a wedge-shaped sinus are detected, further, the distal end of forceps is introduced into the cavity of the wedge-shaped sinus, and when the upper working portion is closed, pathological tissues are captured, the forceps are removed.

EFFECT: inventions allow providing higher ergonomics, quality and safety of surgical operations.
