SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of deaerating foams and foamed media. Method includes feeding at least part of foam from reservoir (10) into central channel of body assembly (13). Body assembly (13) has central channel and flow channel of intersecting section. Flow of flow channel crosses flow of central channel and provides creation of flow of liquid medium through flow channel of cross section in housing assembly (13). As a result at least part of gas in foam is removed from foam and carried away by liquid medium flow with formation of mixture of liquid medium and entrained gas. Then the mixture of liquid medium and entrained gas is supplied to reservoir (10) and/or to another place in process cycle.
EFFECT: improved mixing, dilution and cleaning of suspensions, higher quality of waste water from concentrators, reduced consumption of flocculent reagent, higher energy efficiency.
