FIELD: gas generation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for optimising the generation of nano bubbles of gas in a solution and can be used for disinfecting masses of water, air, medical equipment, for sterilising fruits, vegetables, and other perishable foodstuffs. The system comprises the following components: a centrifugal pump containing a mixing chamber for moving liquid from a tank into a high-pressure tank; a gas source for injecting a first amount of gas into said liquid inside said mixing chamber in order to create a first solution containing a first volume of gas nano bubbles; a high-pressure tank for receiving said first solution from said centrifugal pump and retaining the first solution under internal pressure for a selected period of time in order to create a second solution containing a second volume of gas nano bubbles in addition to said first volume; and one or more nozzles for spraying said second solution into said tank, wherein the size and shape of said one or more nozzles are made such as to release part of said volumes of gas nano bubbles into said liquid. Herewith, the centrifugal pump is configured to cause the circulation of said liquid into and through a circuit of elements containing said tank, said centrifugal pump, said high-pressure tank, and said one or more nozzles until the required amount of pollutants is removed from the liquid.
EFFECT: generation of nano bubbles in a larger amount, at a higher concentration, of higher quality.
