FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: presented is an electronic measuring apparatus (20) for determining the vapour pressure using the coefficient of a vapour pressure meter. Electronic measuring apparatus (20) comprises a processing system (200) connected to the measuring unit (10) so as to communicate therewith. The processing system (200) is configured to provide an exciting signal to the measuring unit (10) with a fluid, measure the excitation gain coefficient of the exciting signal provided to the measuring unit (10), and determine the vapour pressure of the fluid based on the predetermined ratio between the excitation gain coefficient and the reference gas-liquid ratio.

EFFECT: higher accuracy due to the considered delay in the detection of the phase change of the fluid.
