SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of creating a trusted digital image of a document, comprising sending a signal to a security element located on a secure medium through a communication bus for launching an application, reading data recorded on a carrier of the readable document using an application on the same security element, verifying the validity of data recorded on the medium of the readable document, public digital certificate, verification of certificate validity, creation of document digital image on the same security element, preserving a digital image of a document on the same security element with possibility of its reading.
EFFECT: technical result consists in creating a trusted image of a digital document on one safe medium for use by any third-party applications.
