FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to a system and method for determining a state of entrainment or monotony based on an EEG signal. System includes a signal receiving unit (2), a primary signal processing unit (3), a filtered primary signal processing unit (4), unit for determining entrainment or monotony (5), data output unit (6). In the embodiments of the technical solution, it is possible to have an additional unit for personalization of the state of being involved or monotony (7), a unit for fixing deviation from the normal state of user (8). In the method implementation, the EEG signal is obtained from the user's (1) neurointerface by the signal reception unit. Signal primary processing unit is connected to signal reception unit. Primary signal processing unit is used for primary processing by spectral decomposition of the received signal into cerebral rhythms. Signal primary signal processing unit is connected to filtration unit of primary processed signals. Using the filtration unit of the primary processed signals, the signal is checked for presence of interference and aggregation of the primary converted signals of left hemisphere theta rhythms, right hemisphere alpha- and theta rhythms. State of entrainment or monotony is determined by determining a correlate of a state of entrainment or monotony by means of a determination unit of entrainment or monotony. Unit of determination of entrainment or monotony is connected to filtration unit of primary processed signals and is configured to perform summation of primary converted signals, averaging sum of leads along sliding window, determining a standard deviation of an absorption or monotony indicator and a global average absorption or monotony indicator, determining a state boundary and exiting therefrom. Data extraction unit is connected to unit of determination of entrainment or monotony. Data output unit output data by providing user with obtained results.
EFFECT: higher reliability of determining the current state of entrainment or monotony due to higher accuracy of processing the obtained data and extended interpretation of data on brain activity of the user in real time.
