SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, neurology. Device for excitation and registration of a corneal reflex consists of an irritant source. Source of stimulation is a source of pulsed air supply in the form of an air chamber communicating with the external environment, wherein the air chamber has the form of a cone with an opening at the top of the cone, and the flexible membrane is the base of the cone, to which the non-magnetic rod is connected, passing through the solenoid and ending with the other side of the solenoid with a magnetic tip protruding from the solenoid. Device additionally comprises a recorder, a controller which controls the relay by moving the rod, simultaneously connected to the light-emitting diode, and the recorder is a video camera, the viewing angle of which captures the eye of the person being tested, a rod and a light-emitting diode. Device is configured to record a corneal reflex, which is a record of movement of the rod, LED illumination and eyelid movement of the eye of the person being tested, to determine latent time of the corneal reflex - from the beginning of supplying the air pulse to the subsequent flashing of the eye.
EFFECT: use of this invention will make it possible to increase accuracy of registration of a corneal reflex with the possibility of determining its characteristics.
