SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems. Method comprises: receiving, by a terminal device, first downlink data comprising P groups of code blocks (CBG) in N groups of the CBG of a given transport block; execution by the terminal device of the decoding operation P groups of code blocks to obtain feedback information on P bits, wherein feedback information on each bit is used to indicate whether the corresponding group of unit code blocks is to be relayed; and sending, by the terminal device, information used to notify the network device of the need to relay M groups of code blocks, wherein M groups of code blocks include groups of code blocks to be relayed in N groups of code blocks.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of flexibility of relaying groups of code blocks in a unit for transmitting service data in a wireless communication system.
