Method comprises: receiving, by a terminal device, first information transmitted by a network side device, wherein said first information is used by a terminal device to determine a beam or a group of beams used to transmit an uplink signal to a network side device; terminal device determines according to first information target beam or group of target beams for uplink signal transmission; terminal device uses a target beam or a group of target beams to transmit an uplink signal to a network side device.
EFFECT: high quality of communication owing to improved characteristics of the network side device when receiving an uplink signal.
