FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition for enhancing plant growth and promoting viability of a plant comprising recombinant exosporia-producing Bacillus cells of a Bacillus cereus family, which express fused protein, as well as at least one biological control agent selected from a group consisting of Bacillus subtilis QST713 and Bacillus firmus I-1582 in a synergistically effective amount. Also disclosed is a seed coated with said composition. Invention also relates to a method of treating a plant, a portion of plants or a locus surrounding a plant, for enhancing plant growth, as well as to promote plant viability, using said composition.
EFFECT: invention allows to effectively enhance plant growth and promote viability of a plant.
