FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a recombinant nucleic acid molecule for giving resistance to an insect pest of Lepidoptera order. A transgenic plant, a part of the plant, and a seed containing the specified recombinant nucleic acid molecule; a composition, and a feed, food, cosmetic, and industrial product containing the specified recombinant nucleic acid molecule are also disclosed. A method for control of a pest or pest damage, where the pest is an insect pest of Lepidoptera order, using the specified nucleic acid; and a method for detection of the presence of the specified recombinant nucleic acid molecule are disclosed.
EFFECT: invention allows for effective control of insect pests of Lepidoptera order.
