FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, in particular to a chimeric genetic structure for the expression of a protein that is toxic to the ipsilon dart (Agrotis ipsilon), as well as to a vector, a cell, a plant containing said protein and plant seeds. Also disclosed is a synthetic nucleic acid molecule for the expression of a protein toxic to the ipsilon dart (Agrotis ipsilon), as well as a method for producing a transgenic plant resistant to the ipsilon dart. The invention also relates to a protein that is toxic to the ipsilon dart (Agrotis ipsilon), to a method for producing said protein, to a composition containing said protein and to a method for combating the ipsilon dart (Agrotis ipsilon) using said protein.
EFFECT: invention enables effectively combating the ipsilon dart (Agrotis ipsilon).
