SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a recombinant polynucleotide molecule which codes a polypeptide having insect pest inhibiting activity. Also disclosed are: a recombinant polypeptide which is encoded by said polynucleotide molecule; a host cell comprising said recombinant polynucleotide molecule; a composition comprising said recombinant polynucleotide molecule; seed containing said recombinant polynucleotide molecule; commercial product containing said host cell; recombinant vector containing said recombinant polynucleotide molecule; transgenic plant containing said recombinant polynucleotide molecule. There are disclosed methods for controlling coleopteran insect pests, obtaining seeds, which are carried out using said polynucleotide molecule.
EFFECT: invention allows effective control of insect pests.
