FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for protection designed to service a large number of terminals. Such result is achieved due to that mobile control object (MBC), made with possibility to communicate with access unit (AN), such as eNodeB, is configured to send a message containing traffic indication (7) to be reduced, in AN or from AN, wherein traffic reduction contains one of deviation, ignoring or selective restriction of traffic. Access unit (AN) is configured to receive (7) from MBC traffic type indication (7) to be reduced, receive (210, 150) UE message (150) associated with indicating type of traffic to be reduced, reject, ignore or selectively limit (212) traffic to a UE or from a UE associated with indicating a type of traffic to be reduced.
EFFECT: technical result consists in saving resources in a network in situations with malfunctioning devices.
